Our wedding at Oakfield gardens was everything we could have hoped for.
The grounds are just exquisite, and the venue is totally flexible - you can have the ceremony anywhere (we chose the gorgeous arboretum) and choose any food vendor (we had pizza, ice cream and burgers!).
We had an amazing day of games on the big lawn, and couples photos in the beautiful walled garden. Pete, Anne and the team couldn’t have been more helpful at every point in the process.”

“My absolute dream wedding venue & it all came true last week! We had the most amazing day, getting married at my local church, followed by our reception at Oakfield Gardens.
I found Oakfield Gardens on Instagram. Pete was amazing from the start, nothing was too much & he was always on the other end of the phone if you needed something. I knew straight away it was the venue we were after, chilled, beautiful & a completely blank canvas. After attending one of the open days (deffo recommend this!) & trying the food from Street Eats we decided on Fish & Chips as our day food & Crepes for the evening which everyone loved. I collected/made lots of the decor bits myself & also hired a few things but I absolutely loved this aspect of the place, I could make it into exactly how I imagined without any limitations.
The day was just perfect, we had our welcome drinks in the courtyard & then our guests got to stroll down to the tipis through the beautiful gardens. We had sooo many comments from our guests about the venue, most said they wouldn’t have known it was there. After food we had mini golf & games out on the field so our guests spent a lot of time out their until our band arrived in the evening, it was so lovely to walk out and see everyone mingling & enjoying themselves.
One hugeeee plus was that our photographer utilised every area possible for our pictures, I am absolutely in love with them & we definitely wouldn’t of had the same outcome if we were anywhere else.

“We held our wedding at Oakfield Gardens back in July . We were looking for a venue that offered us the opportunity to have the kind of wedding we wanted and Oakfield Gardens gave us that in abundance.
We had a very big vision of what our special day would be like and Pete gave us a blank canvas to work with. We painted the picture and with Pete's help and can do attitude we managed to pull it off.
Our wish was to have a fun relaxed wedding with musicians playing outside during the day. We had a street poet along with a big evening communal singalong around the firepits. We then had a dance off in the tipi with a party band to complete our wonderful day.
Pete was completely on-board with our vision and gave us a free rein on all our ideas to make it a unique day for us. He arrived early on the big day and stayed until well after the party finished making sure our dream day ran as smoothly as possible. So a massive thank you for helping us to create a wonderful memory not just for us but for our family and friends.
We cannot finish without mentioning just how beautiful Oakfield gardens are. The trees and flowers are truly amazing and it has a wonderful calmness to it that really goes beyond words.
We chose our tree to hold our celebration under and it truly is magnificant. There are so many lovely places to hold your special celebration and so many fantastic photography opportunities.
We really recommend you visit Oakfield Gardens as a possible venue for your wedding day. If you do, ask Pete to show you our celebration tree, as we are sure you will love it too.

“My DREAM wedding!! Such a perfect day for me and my husband! Pete, the wedding organiser was everything I needed and more! Really felt like nothing was too much hassle for him and he was at end of the phone whenever I needed him! (Literally, when I was messaging him at midnight!) He was so professional and so friendly (and made the whole experience for me relaxed and enjoyable.
If you love the outdoors and a chilled vibe then this is the perfect venue for you! The tipi itself was so beautiful, you don't need much to make it amazing as the fairy lights inside do it all for you!
There were so many amazing photo opportunities around the venue, especially the uplighting in the trees on the evening and not forgetting the amazing sunset shot by the tipi!
We used Doolally Tap weddings who was a lady called Anne! She was the best! Loved her so much and she really made our ceremony and the whole day so special.
If I could do it all again, I honestly would! It was a day I'll never forget and that was all because of Pete and his amazing team! Thank you Pete, Sarah, Anne and everybody who made it so special!”

“If you are considering booking this venue, YOU NEED TO DO IT!!!! The venue itself is stunning. And the team are fantastic.
Our original wedding got canceled and we stumbled across this venue and it is the best thing that had ever happened to us!
Pete was incredible from the first phone call and bent over backwards to help us (before we'd even confirmed our booking). Once we had booked the team were amazing. Literally nothing was too much trouble and Pete was answering random messages at all times of the day. They were all so friendly and approachable.
Our guests and photographer all commented on how amazing the team, venue and day was. I cannot say enough good things or recommend this place enough!!”
