Our Story
Oakfield Gardens is located at The River School, an independent charity founded in 1985, to give an excellent and rounded education to the next generation.
Income from events will enable the school to enhance facilities and reduce fees for many families. Before the school was established, Oakfield Gardens was a horticultural training site, this has been nurtured and maintained ever since. An array of rare trees and flowers encompass the grounds making this a beautiful setting and backdrop for your special day.
Our 9-acre gardens are home to seven beehives. Beehives are said to be places of harmony, open communication and domestic stability. - a great blessing to every new marriage celebrated here, with all the elements of happily-ever-after evoked by the special location. Hence our Honeycomb package!
Our vision for Oakfield Gardens is to give all of our prospective clients their dream wedding or event with all the stress taken out of it. For those that want a higher level of bespoke service, we offer that through our passionate team.
